Day 1:
Theory and Glamorous Bridal and Debs look.
Eye shapes, eye colours, skin types, lip shapes, face shapes, the effects of light and photography on make up.
Day 2:
Theatrical Make up.
A brief history on Theatrical make up
Theatrical makeup can be successfully worn on or off stage. However, it has special properties: It is highly pigmented so the colour does not wash out under bright stage lights. It can hold up under lots of activity?stage life is rigorous.
Full application of Queen Victoria / Cat walk / Run Way Make up to include extreme eye shadow application shaping and high lighting
Day 3:
Portfolio.
Your portfolio, your main and essential tool in the make-up industry will be done on models of your choice and photographed by professional photographers on-site.
This is the only make-up training course that offers students this facility. Your portfolio is the crucial part of your career, meaning that when you leave you will be able to search for work immediately, showing each prospective employer your skills. Leaving without a portfolio will mean that you will have to grapple with photographers for test shots in order to develop a portfolio.
The Portfolio will contain the following looks:
Glamorous Bridal and Debs look
Cat walk / Run way make up
Fresh Summer Face
